This house was built in 1977 by an Italian family who lived here until 2022 when they sold to developers
it has since been demolished along with the house beside it. i did not get to explore that one, but another explorer did, and that video can be found right here:

I enjoyed this house. It gave off happy vibes and was very clean still. There was a lot of sunlight and views of the gardens in the yard from every window. It looked like old grape vines over the fence. I imagine them making their own wine, growing and canning vegetables. You could do a lot of cooking and seat many people in that huge kitchen! 😊

A bit of a different house. That basement was a maze of rooms. I bet they did a lot of canning and preserves. Maybe even some wine making. Good find. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for posting this one - as mentioned in a previous post, it gave of welcoming vibes of many happy times spent in this house. It was a surprise to see an abandoned house so clean, and for a change, not trashed and vandalized by copper thieves. Sad to see it gone in the name of 'progress'.

9:04 This kitchen gives such nice vibes. I just love it! It isn't completely closed off, so you have a cool panorama from the corridor, almost as if you are invited to take a sit in front of the L island and have a snack. Ethan is opening these cabinets, because even as they are emptied out, they still beg to treat him to a meal! This room is also full of light, which makes it all the more welcoming. Italians are bon vivant with a special love for their gastronomy, so I am sure the family spent some of their fondest memories there 😊

Man, what a totally weird layout this house has! It’s all narrow hallways that lead to small bedrooms then suddenly…bam! a huge oddly shaped room. The floor plan is kinda jarring and all over the place, but cool to see nonetheless. Thanks!

Cute house! Basement was kind of creepy in spots but would have made great extra living space if all finished. The cool floor tile in the kitchen grabbed my attention. Still so shiny after almost 50 years. I would still keep it today. Loved the chandelier in the living room! House is on the smaller side but five bedrooms! Did they raise a large family I wonder. Those bedroom floors were unique but again seemed in great shape. Great yard space. I would much rather live in a smaller home with large outdoor space than a huge home on a tiny lot where one could almost see into the neighbors windows from inside your house. So much could have still been done to restore this rather than destroy it. I think I’ll always prefer restoration vs demolition and think there are very few houses that can’t be saved. I’ve seen pictures/videos of literally shells of houses restored, even 300 yr old shells. It’s sad to me. That house so well maintained with the future of it in mind only to become rubble. Thanks Ethan for sharing this one. Take care, be well and always stay safe!

The tree in the backyard in center is a olive tree. Hope they salvaged the chandelier and kitchen cabinets got donated as they are solid wood and in good condition and the stove removed and light fixtures too. The boxes of AZROCK TILE I THINK IS WHAT THE TWO BACK BEDROOMS HAD LAYED DOWN. MUST SAY HAD SOME STRANGE STORAGE AREA'S IN THE BASEMENT.

My favorite part of this one was probably the kitchen I would say, it was a nice size, and the old school cabinetry was in great shape, and gives a warm feeling to the space . The terrazzo floors were really nice! The yard with the vineyard type plants was cool, and I imagine a lot of cooking and canning and even wine making took place here most likely. ✌️

So terrible to tear this down. The 1970's had the beautiful floor tiles that you can't get anymore. The designs on the floors; beautiful doors; real wood trim around. I wonder if the reason all these large home got abandoned is because they were too big to manage or pay for? I mean, "less is more" is really true. A smaller home would be better for us all, or medium sized.
