Being a hip-hop artist from NZ, I work with whoever and give everyone credit for their participation because when I found out about this and Grandmaster Caz not getting credited for his part in Rappers Delight, It inspired me to never leave anyone out for how they helped and being a part of it? I am saddened that Grandmaster Caz was never mentioned by Big Bank Hank god bless his soul rest in peace for his involvement.

Ive meet Caz in new york, he explained it all. Hank was working in his shop when an agent stopped outside, searching for talented rappers on the street to put together a gruop (sugarhill gang), so hank took the chance and got a chance to record a song, as a test, so he called caz for advise. So caz gave him some lyrics, afterall they were friends. And so Hank sung what caz told him to, and got the spot in sugarhill gang. And those lyrics are the same as he used in Rappers deligt.
