Nusli's admiration for his grandad jinnah, is disturbing the interviewer, the interviewer tried to downplay jinnah, and give his patriarchal family credibility for his qualities and success, and nusli giving credit to his maternal grandad, for his fighting spirit, standing up for truth, integrity etc, truly disturbed the anchor, I'm proud of my grandfather and don't need certificates, top comment

Ha ha she left Jinnah for his lover. Same, what her mother had done once. But, hypocrite Jonnah opposed her. Meanwhile, he had created a facade of him being a very liberal and open minded person. After realising and observing this hypocrisy of her father, she did what any self respecting person should have done. She not only left him and his religion but also the hateful nation created by him. She completely discarded him and her children are now flourishing in India. See who the Nusli Wadia's friends are, LK Advani, former deputy prime minister of India (lifetime RSS member) and Jaswant Singh, former foreign minister of India (BJP member supported by RSS).

@@nihalpathak3407 but you must know the fact that Nusli is very proud of his grand father... both lk advani and jaswant singh have showered praises on jinnah in their authored books...
@nihalpathak3407
@nihalpathak3407 3 жыл бұрын
@@carlsagan7040 yes why not, afterall his grandfather was a great intellect. Gandhi is father of our nation and known for his non violent struggle worldwide but in one survey, done by some reputed organization, they found out that it is actually Jinnah, who people of the subcontinent regarded as greatest leader of past century. Off course people have different ideas, different opinions on things and who is great or who is good cannot be only based on public opinion or some single person's view. I don't see my view as only truth but you can read that story about father daughter relationship in my previous comment and reach to your own conclusion. Everything is not said in public. You have to praise your parents and grandparents even if you know that they were wrong in the past. You don't go in public criticising them. It's not favourable to one's own image. It is very basic idea and part of our culture. As a very successful businessman, coming from a very prominent lineage, Nusli certainly would have known that. Yes, Jaswant Singh and LK Advani may have made some favourable comments about Jinnah but what was the context and circumstances around those statements. Advani was on a visit to Pakistan and his objective behind that comment, according to me, was to show mirror to the people of that nation, that while your Qaid used to talk big about rights of minorities, the irony is today no minority has been left in your country. RSS and Congress both disliked his comment due to their political reasons and dumbness but did Pakistanis welcomed his comment? No, because welcoming his comment or to stand with him on this would have meant that Jinnah actually wanted a 'secular' Pakistan. Then, the question would have arisen, that why Pakistan is not secular contrary to its qaid wishes? You see, Jinnah had purposely advocated both 'secularism' as well as 'Sharia law' to different audiences. So, today a jihadi and a liberal both can use Jinnah's speeches to further their agendas. The same can be said about both Singh and Advani. They both had lifelong association with rightwing organisations, specially Advani who brought BJP to centre stage and was poster boy of right wing politics, but suddenly after few stray comments on Jinnah their turned themselves into a liberal figure. And many people have speculated that Advani actually wanted to topple Vajpayee to become pm and used his visit to Pakistan to present his softer image. So you can't ignore the political undertone behind comments made by both these leaders. Jaswant Singh also had his own issues with Nehru, Congress and also with BJP as he was being constantly ignored in organisation after passing a certain age limit. He had reached his retirement age and with advent of new leaders in BJP used to feel ignored. So he rightly used his time to write this book. Besides, Jaswant Singh is not a historian, his views on partition and Jinnah has little significance for students of history. This book was his take on those events, as a politician. Both these politicians have their whole lifelong work behind them. To judge them only based on their comments on Jinnah will not be fair with them. We have to judge them as per their policies and actions when they were in power. The same goes with Jinnah, judge his views by his actions not by his words.
