Donaldson is always a quick seller for me in a lot. McCaffery is a fantasy author. That Dune find is amazing. I found 1st paperback edition in absolutely terrible condition, bindings falling apart and pages ripped, and they still auctioned for $60,

You mentioned you were at your son's game watching it and you were editing and listing things. It amazes me how people, like yourself, can not unplug and just leave the electronic device's, your work, alone. Imagine your son looking over at you to see your face buried in your phone and not on him. That's what he will remember. Give the time, attention and space to your children. I promise you, you will be blessed for it and in return they will be blessed for you doing so.

I used to live in the Philippines and I saw a lot of those types of jackets. The guys around the Military bases (when they were there in the 80's) would pick those up. Since the bases are now gone, I doubt they make them any longer

Makes me wish I had my uncles jacket he sent my Mom MANY yrs ago! 😪 It was gorgeous n it got put on my folks estate sale 🤨 n I didn't know it til I seen it walking away...I wanted to bawl. 😢 I'd have never sold it n I know my daughter who's got a flair for fashion n is starting to dig some vinty things, would've looked awesome in it!! 🥰 I remember it having very brightly colored embroidery on it n was sooo pretty! 💗 Sigh... 😔

I love when I'm heading somewhere to buy a particular product and on the way there I stop at a tag sale and find the item I was going to buy at 1/10, if not lower, than that of said item new. My wife isn't fond of me stopping at tag sales like I do, but she is realizing the amount of money I save buying items at a tag sale.✌🏻

Anne McCaffrey is SciFi/Fantasy. She writes about an alternate universe of dragons. All those books you got are from the golden age of sci if/fantasy, the 1970s and 80s.

I've been reselling for about 15 years now and I've learned a few things from you, you can always learn more but I'm confused as to WHY people buy those vintage plastic loungers!!! Those things are horrible and I can't count how many times back in the day that I have either fallen out of them or been folded up in them

I use one of those folders,(love it) just on my husband's T-shirts. It keeps all of them stacked nice wrinkle free. And the drawer stays neat. And that's a big deal in my book.

Nice pick up on the books at the first sale, I especially like the Stephen King Cycle of the Werewolf, it was illustrated by Berni Wrightson, a great artist and one of my favorites from the past. You should do well with that one, actually on most of what you decide to sell especially the Dune collection since the remake is airing now. You are the yard sale king!

First thing I look for is the barcode on the back . No barcode means it was published before 1973 and could be worth a few hundred dollars

Well, I’m sure glad this woman finally stood up to people in how they overuse their cell phones. That’s one of my pet peeves is going out with somebody and then they just sit there and plug on their phones. It’s rude and annoying..

Granny wouldn't budge on the Christmas stuff but let you walk away with a $100 can opener ....my best sale to date is a B&D Spacemaker toaster oven, BNIB tht I paid $80CA for and sold for $650CA plus shipping.

I bought an Ethan Allen bedroom set about 35 years ago from the factory - 2 beds with storage under them, a desk with bookshelf , dresser and 2 nightstands. It looked like that set. I gave it to my daughter and she painted it white. I was horrified that she painted it, but it really does look nice.

They don't half have better stuff to sell at these yard sales. Here in the UK, people are generally selling rubbish & want far more money for items than they do in the US.

It's probably another reason why every time I watch a video of somebody going to a yard sale or garage sale why they don't bring their kids not just because the kids might you know get into stuff but also because of health and safety reasons.

have to agree its so rude checking prices of items whilst at a yard sale. have some etiqutte and go to your car or go out of site and check then come back to the sale .
