Tempranillo is my favourite even though I would describe the taste as follows: Imagine a leather sofa that someone has puked on. When this combination has been aged for years or decades, the taste becomes finer and finer. I've tasted 37-year old Tempranillo and it seems like it has reached some sense of purity.

It’s pronounced “Temprani-yo “ though, isn’t it?

It completely depends on where you are from Spain

Yes, absolutely, Temprani-yo! Nobody in Spain says Tempranilio. Anyway, great videos!

@@Stella2800 In the same way that NOBODY in Spain says RioKa... It's RioHa- and no it does NOT depend where you are.

Not all for WSET L3 no - but I always like to give more information (hence why I say for L3 and L4!)

I think it would be good to classify the regions with the Names, because it will help you Identify the characteristics, like fruit, tannin alcohol content and blending options (ie Cataluña vs Navarre) I had never thought of that for Spain, especially how Rioja is divided into 3 distinct zones (which is silly of me since I live in the Willamette Valley)
