Such a massive haul😮I’ve had my eyes on that pinball book. Unexpected but interesting subject. I’ve followed closely your growing manga collection. Manga is an area of comics that still intrigues and scares me at the same time. So I’ve used your videos as a substitute for actually buying them… Once Upon a Time in France is such a tragedy(for many characters in it). I really like that book.

I think you will love loads of Manga so put the fear to one side and embrace. I really enjoyed once upon a time in France; the art was stunning and the story was reminiscent of that Ridley Scott film American Gangster, as the book like that film shocked me as the scale of the history that was totally unknown to me.

Tin Tin takes me right back to my early childhood. Mum was from Belgium so had her to thank for my life long love of comics❤

Sounds like Tintin's been on your wishlist as long as mine 😂 Used to get given random Tintin or Asterix books when I was growing up - definitely didn't appreciate Tintin enough when I was younger as Asterix was always funnier and more dynamic so those were my favourites, but I ended up appreciating the storytelling in Tintin much more as I got older :') (P.S. I wish they'd made the second CG movie... They left the story half-done...) Dang, you almost convinced me to get Seven to Eternity for the art, but I can't find it now for £30 🤣 I just started to wonder what my Jan to Apr haul would be like 🤔 Then decided better not to count or dwell on it 😅 😂 Hope you've filled those shelves a bit now, so most books have another to lean on 😊

Don’t worry, the shelves are filled! 😂 I want a second cgi one too, I really enjoyed the first one. I never read much Asterix at all, lots of the cartoon though loved that!

Its a shame these box sets don't have the Africa story. Even though it's culturally very problematic, it was a product of its time.

Hmm, this has happened to me before, but I think I tried to include a url or another time actually mentioned a rival video streaming platform which maybe they took offence to 😂

I’m glad you mentioned that as I read it and then it disappeared and I was well confused. It might be because you mentioned the book site; one that I used and cancelled my order with btw as it was never posted so the reputation is a little warranted I think. Hope you get anything you ordered anyway. And thanks for commenting and completing as always!

@@OffMyShelves Ohh dear...£74 aswell....I've got till May 5th before I can get a refund but what an imbecile I am...normally I allways use companies I'm used too... Hours after I ordered this big Omni I checked the companies only to see terrible reviews... First time and last time I make this mistake. Maybe I'll get lucky and the book will turn up...

@@OffMyShelves I tried to cancel my order the next day but they took my money quickly and apparently posted quickly too. We shall see. Rookie mistake this...I've spent over £5000 and I've got very lucky. Always got refunds. How do these companies exist if they don't deliver!?
