Grease looked amazing! That close call at the entrance to the underground parking garage was dramatic and thankfully, Elton didn’t suffer any damage! Your drone shot of the town is one for the ages. The cuisine at the Fleur-de-Lys spoke for itself.

Hi again! I've been waiting for your trip to Grasse! - I was there 16!! We drove from Yorkshire, through the Alps -First and last time I was there in that place. Great work, as always. I'm super addicted to you lovely lads. Btw, watched your trip to St Paul de Vence yesterday -Wow! the only thing that looked was, as you mentioned, the boules pitch. 🫶Fabulous trip! Glad you survived the barrier bump. Agree about the floating brollies - they are everywhere. New little dog friend @ is such a little sweetheart. Behaved incredibly well. I like ‘ducks’ so had to cover my eyes in the restaurant part where Mr Boo was munching. Food did look attractive! X

However, I cannot eat meat unless it is cooked for longer. Would a French restaurant be offended if I asked for that, and do you ever see vegetarian options?

Better stock up! India has banned rice exports except for Basmati and here in Thailand the effects of the severe drought mean the government is considering banning planting a new crop in the central plains. So shortages and higher prices are on their way

Nice video of Grasse. The restaurant had a lovely looking ambience. Tim's meat looked a bit more of a meal than Mr Boo's Magret. Very pretty on the plate but... However total bill was surprisingly reasonable

Hi lads from sunny Spain amd bonjour mes amis. 36° at 7.15 pm. One can't comment on a meal that one can't actually taste, prettiness doesn't count. We are in the realm of not heating up the kitchen any more than is absolutely possible so, today we had a 'faux roast' of thick steaks cut from a pork loin in the slow cooker with roast potatoes cooked in the halogen oven accompanied by calabrese. It was very tasty and quite delightful. Followed by a dessert of blaeberry ice cream and coffee.

Clear to see that the French perfected the Guillotine (they didn't invent it). To install one at the entrance of a car park is a bit odd, though 😉 The car park looked great. Better photos and graphics on the walls than in some galleries. They must have a lot of accidents when people get distracted from the ways. Lovely old church and another fine restaurant. Twiggy is developing into a really nice, well-behaved dog!

You guys found a charger in time - yay! That was a great cliff - hanger , by the way - close call! I was wondering if the chargers in the parking structure are not part of the system that shows complet , since they wouldn’t be available to gasoline vehicles ? Might be something to explore in the future, if complet is really complet or just for non electric charger spots. 🤷🏽‍♀️ La Fleur de Lys - I bookmarked it got a future visit. I got my car written off by the insurance company last week after an accident, was going to get an ami as a 2nd vehicle, but decided that if I am going to get a new car, then it needs to be electric with Wales becoming 20 mph in what are currently 30 mph zones so residential zones, and 50 mph on motorways, and A-Class roads, and having a courtesy car that is both Automatic, and petrol confirmed my suspicions that petrol can't out do a diesel for miles per gallon especially around town. so going for a brand new Nissan Leaf EVm and picking it up tomorrow. at least as long as isn't an energy crisis then shouldn't be as bad as fuel shortages around the country. even though charging points are few and far between in the UK outside of London.

You need to buy the top of the topolino car to put in the citroen ami roof. That way you can open the roof in hot weather. If you buy only the topolino roof will be the cheap solution for the hot inside the car

Topolino open roof is the same tipe of ami roof so buy one and change the roof to stop hot inside the ami. You dont need other car. Just change the roof

Driving anywhere, trying to park anywhere is becoming a bigger challenge 😡and welcome to our world in Cornwall(we’re locals) Arrived at a car park in our ‘Capital’ Truro, sign stated spaces available so entered to join a queue of other motorists all trying to find a free space. There weren’t any! So we ended up having to buy a ticket to get out of the car park Moral of this story: officials appear to try and make life as difficult as possible to keep city centres and towns alive. Sorry Tim & Boo, that was a good video, thanks 🤣 Ps: love the shirt Mr.Boo 🙏

Bad design. The system won’t detect car park full until the ticket dispenser is reached which, as you found out, allows for following vehicles to move forward potentially encountering the COMPLET arm of doom. Should have the barrier come down after each car and have it raised when the dispenser notes there are still free spaces.
