I'd recommend getting the side agitator and get them to buy the pump agitator as well and claim the vat back on the whole build.

Im surprised he dismisses the value of having a cover on the tank, excessive rainwater is the problem nationwide in filling these tanks too fast, the only advantage is it makes agitation easier.

There is definitely benefits to the farmer to covering!!! U get 1000mm of rain a year that's a 1000mm over all catchment area haha

Agitation sounds like hardship in this case, a side agitator would be such a simpler option
