Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZfaq, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZfaq. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZfaq, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

I don’t think you realize the significance of posting this on this day. This song is from the last Grateful Dead show ever on 7/9/95. Jerry died just thirty days later on, you guessed it, 8/9/95, 28 years ago today. Rip Jerry

RIP Jerry Garcia. I didn't know the significance at all, but that is some crazy timing.

Oh no, Jerry telling us goodbye. The road, the pain, the drugs, the fatigue, all visible in his face. Very hard for me to watch this.

Wow. This might be the first time I’ve seen a reaction to this specific performance. He was only 53 in this video, and would be gone a month later. This performance makes me cry every time. It was his last great performance. All he wanted to do was be a guitar player and stay out of the spotlight, but the pressures of taking care of the huge amount of people on the GD payroll kept them touring and Jerry just finally had enough. There are few musicans who are vulnerable enough to bear their whole soul with every song, Jerry was one of them. Thank you Jerry for everything ❤

It was “So Many Bacon Cheeseburgers” that did him in. Jerry loved bacon cheeseburgers (who doesn’t?). But despite all the drug use, it was clogged arteries that took him too soon.

This was their last show ever This is one of the last songs in that show. Just a short time before Jerry passed. He was in bad shape and this one is considered his last great effort and you could feel he was singing to the crowd….to of us. I swell up in tears every time I hear this great last one RIP Jerry. I miss you so much!

That is heavy. He seemed like a gentle soul in this performance. Now that I know it was his last show... it provides a deeper feeling. RIP Jerry Garcia

Jerry was only 53 here but looked much older. A true musical genius with an IQ of 190 he had mastered 15 instruments and mastered every style of guitar. When Jerry died Bob Dylan said that he had no equal.

RIP Jerry Garcia. That knowledge definitely gives me a different perspective on this performance. I loved the lyricism of this song though, very touching

It's sad to watch that video. I just can't bring myself to watch most anything from 95'. Jerry was in bad shape. Only 53 here, yet he looked to be in his late 60s. Teleprompters and it still didn't help. Tough watch my man but glad you chose to do something today. It's been 28yrs today since his passing. 8-9-95 Gone, but never forgotten. Eternally grateful.

This is one of my favs regardless of Jerry's health - his ballads always pull at the heartstrings. The chord progression on this is constructed to fit the emotion of the lyric perfectly. Also devastating to know in hindsight where the next "home" was for Jerry. Re: the drummers and song composition. Of course many songs were written before Mickey joined or while he was on "hiatus" in the early-mid seventies, but I think for the most part he and Billie just played. They had big, open ears and knew how to feel the songs and complement each other (more like a dance than a structured time-keeping venture).

So, so much to be said about this song, and as stated previously in comments, this performance in particular. To me, it's got a country touch, but also bluegrass and a gospel feel for sure. The summer tour of 95 was a hard, hard couple of months for everybody in the band. Jerry absolutely bared his heart to all of us in this one, you can almost feel the pain in his voice at points. It's awfully sad to know he passed away a month later, but it's also good to know he is at peace. Thanks for the video.

Very bittersweet here. Beautiful performance, but a worn out body. He was 53 then, and I'm 55 now, but he'd been down a lot more roads than me. With the body being fragile, his mistakes increased as well, but the end of this is so good. I missed it all, but I've been grieving ever since his death a couple of months after this.

Their sound isn't for everybody, but The Dead are a special band. Jerry was an excellent banjo player and was a bluegrass artist before forming the GD with Pigpen and Bob Weir. His side project was the Jerry Garcia Band since mid 70s until his death in '95. I don't know if this would be his last concert, but this was his last year. RIP Jerry.

The picture that distracted you was a still from the "Touch Of Grey" official video with life size skeletons replacing the band for the beginning of the song. The real guys show up in the middle of the video.

That was so cool what they did with that video. I happened to be there when they filmed it at night after an outdoor day show ( Laguna Seca, 87’)It typified what the Dead stood for - out of the box ingenuity and artistry. We all had fun staying for several takes and partying out, pretending to dance it up like normal, or as drummer Bill K (the MC) said “ do whatever it is that you do !”

Lucky you. I was at Laguna Seca one time, but not for a Dead show, unfortunately. Did get to see them about 50 times from 1980-95, last show was at RFK in D.C..Even then we could see Jer was not really himself, but of course, we didn't know it would be the last time. Peace out.@@tcanfield

This is not going to have any significance to you unless you're a serious deadhead already. This is not the Dead playing well at all. Try "One More Saturday Night " 1972Beat Club
