Martin brought his symphony to #MEAction because the music was inspired by those living with ME. He began writing this concert late 2022 and early 2023, and it’s based on stories sent to him from people and families fighting chronic illness. The majority of whom he said were living with ME. Martin found that while the stories of those fighting chronic illness were dealing with similar harsh realities, they also share the common themes of extreme resilience, passion and hope.
Martin says, “It’s a sincere homage on a grand scale to those fighting an uneven battle for dignity and for life itself.”
