If I was going to go to the trouble to make home made ice cream, I'd use a regular hand-crank machine that makes a couple of quarts. The gadget being reviewed here is too small to be worth the prep time and cleanup; it looks like it only makes maybe 4 or 5 ounces of finished ice cream. But as always, it was fun to watch Bunny's "performance". Thanks!

I like my ice cream when it's JUST starting to melt, so it's softer, but not 'soupy'... I also think it's fun to 'drink' the melted parts right after taking a spoonful of the un-melted parts. I love having just swallowed the 'lump' ice cream, so to speak, and then 'drinking' some off my spoon right after. I love how the textures mingle and all... I don't like too much to 'drink', though! After a certain point, I'll either stick it back in the fridge/freezer, or give it to my G-pa (He'll eat just about anything... he's the goat of the family... x3 I'm watching Zoo Crafting and this back and forth, letting each load while I watch the other. Lmao, I used to make ice cream at camp, but we would play soccer with it 😂 We would put the ingredients into a (washed) sour cream container, put rubber bands on it, then we would put ice, salt, and a bit of water into a coffee container (like the big-ass cans) then we put the sour cream container inside it. A few more rubber bands, and after a few games of soccer and some sore feet, we would all eat ice cream.
