Respectfully disagree, found this sound to be quite generic in comparison to Conduit. The sound was unique, this sounds as i said generic core i find. Still good however, ofc love the genre.

@@Prof.Pwnalot Conduit has my 3 top tracks of their whole discography, so I actually agree with that a lot. This is gonna climb up there, and if they got more of the Gravemind composition that I identify them with in this new release, it might be the new apex. But this is only one track and I gotta say... that instrumental, generic or not, is top notch. xD

I’m blown away by the intense emotion, of this song, I like the first bridge, very much…almost when I couldn’t take it anymore, it was there and crossing it felt like a transformation. Kudos to you! Growing up with thrash metal bands, such as, “Slayer”, your music makes me feel vulnerable again. My youngest cat, Finlay especially likes it. Thank you 😊

How the fuck can ANYONE say this sounds more generic than their previous material? As a massive fan of these guys, this is right inline with where the sound on Conduit was going. This RIPS and I have no complaints.

I found conduit very generic (as i do with almost all deathcore) though granted I only got about halfway through it. And while I don't think this is groundbreaking or reinvents the wheel, it's definitely a step in the right direction. Deathcore needs more versatility desperately and I'm glad these guys are experimenting.

@@raiderdavemusic Heavy bands that aren't generic I would say some examples are northlane, bring me the horizon, novelists, diamond construct, loathe, sleep token, bad omens to name a few. I'm not a big deathcore listener so if there are some that can sell out arenas that's cool but in my opinon no deathcore band I've heard in recent years has really had anything that sets them apart from the rest.

Found the sound to be more generic than the vocals haha. Singing in metal / deathcore is fine imo. Different style with the replacement however. See how we go with the new releases. Hoping for some stand out riffs
