For this game we built decks using the newly previewed Commander Masters Commanders with Sliver Gravemother vs. Commodore Guff vs. Zhulodock, Void Gorger vs. Anikthea, Hand of Erebos!

And this is a great example of why you don't play mill with out some really heavy graveyard shutdown/control. Mesmeric Orb lost the game for multiple people.

9:07 Slight misplay. You can't attack a Planeswalker with a Encore'd creature. It has to attack the player. The only exception to this is if you aren't required to attack a certain player (for example if they have a Ghostly Prison) then you can redirect that creature to any player or planeswalker. In this case though, the sliver would have had to bypass Teferi and Guff.

Trying to build Kethis instead. Mill and reanimate seems like the way to go with walkers. Not to mention golgari seems a lot better then izzet. The walkers and the support is a lot better and more fun IMO.

Enjoyed the video, love watching gameplay videos. Will point out the cascades happen before the creature or spell you cast revolves. Didn’t see anyone mention it. Look forward to see more!

As much as I really like the Planeswalkers.... I gotta say it's impressive that wizards managed to make the colorless deck not only look well built, but actually makes Colorless look like a viable option now. The mana base is still lackluster & it lacks in big reprints, but the deck in this video would be way crazier with those new cards, same for most colorless decks.

14:25 If Sarkhan the Masterless turns your planeswalkers into creatures, they aren’t planeswalkers anymore. Oath of Teferi only lets planeswalkers double activate loyalty, not creatures. You cannot activate Jace twice

I like his deck but I think it should have had like 5 more Planeswalkers. To me a Superfriends commander deck needs 30 or more to be truly Superfriends.

Eldrazi was fine honestly. He had like 16 or 17 mana turn 7. It just got shut off by that Teferi Ultimate. Sliver didn't get to do shit basically.

Only ran two 1 drops this game. Was hoping to get a first sliver encore cast at some point so I tried to run more of the 3 and higher then 2 and lower. Still ended up with a little under half of them being 2 or lower but yeah. It was an idea.

@@micahlbarber1618 Makes sense. Personally I find it hard to not run all of them. I focused less on cascading in my build & more on making sure my slivers were in my grave. Homing sliver & screeching sliver are tanks for this commander IMO. I inserted Obeka & Sundial of the Infinite into my build to make sure my guys hung around. :)

@PHATJER it's 3 life lost per sliver attacking. Swing with 6 slivers only gets 18. And it's only to defending player.

@@micahlbarber1618You're totally right. My brain kept reading it as All Slivers have: "Whenever a Sliver you control attacks, defending player loses 1 life". But that would be way too OP for 2 mana. 😂

Why would you not plus 1 guff when you played him? This channel I swear….. the bad plays…. Oh oh he just made one and didn’t say anything…somehow worse The editors notes do not make it better. The really bad too much damage to the table
