Graveyard diving Lake Jocassee

Scuba trip to the Carmel Cemetary in 130 ffw in lake Jocassee.
Bottom time was ~16 min with 15 min of decompression.
Vis was 30-40 ft and water temperature was in the low 50s.

Was that a skeleton around the 8 minute mark? Looked like a small skull and rib cage

Everyone was evacuated when they flooded the town

@@Not_BlitzFn yeah but they didn’t evacuate the corpses in the ground This is a flooded graveyard the ground surrounding the body could have gotten eroded or something idk But then Again it does look plastic

I used air on the dive and then 50% as the Decompression gas.

They were plentiful 35 years ago. However, there is plenty of trout in Jocassee. The trout are hitting around 100 to 120 feet deep right now

I was wondering the same thing! I heard there are many graves there and I believe thats why some many people die on that lake!
