I always said this , never confuse Facts with Reality. Right from the beginning, I said Ukraine is making the same mistake Georgia did , luckily for Georgia , they surrendered as soon as possible. It took so long for Ukraine to take a U turn. Now Russia is going on a full invasion. Initially the past Ukrainian president looked stupid by not pushing For Nato alliance but now he seems he had a good reason. Ukrain thought they had leverage. Zalensky never had the leverage right from the start, Nato or the world is not ready for war, with Russia

The question we must ask ourselves is why Putin never push to either invade Ukrain or declare some parts of Ukrain independent during the past Ukrain president, Viktor Yanukovych regime. ? That is what I been thinking before this war started. Ukraine should designated itself as a Neutral country ang boost its defense. Trying to join NATO only make your country Ukraine a target which is happening now. Russia do not want NATO on his backyard. The same can be said to the U.S not wanting the presence of the Soviets in Cuba in 1962.

Yeah, the current NATO leadership thinks that either Putin is dying (Cancer Rumor) or that the Russian time table for this military situation is closing. So they are gambling away military resources and money backing the brave but not ready for WWIII Ukraine believing that they can outlast Russia short term. Do they want Putin to get serious, fully mobilize and move against NATO itself?. I guess that they do not think that the Russian tanks can break into Berlin twice in a century, right?.

You forget that the Ukraine conflict is of more strategic importance to Europe than to the US. There is of course enlightened self-interest in the actions of the americans. Their long term goal is to get Putin to act rashly and get bogged down so that the 22 largest republics within Russia can rebel and declare their independence, just as the 15 republics of the western border of the USSR did in 1989-1991 when the USSR was in terminal decline and could not muster the military power to stop them from self-declaring their independence. Ukraine was the biggest of such nations. This will be the greatest foreign policy coup that Biden is looking for and hoping to use to get re-elected in 3 years time. The Europeans will go along with it as a long term agenda of their military arm, NATO. Ultimately, the US and Europe want to confront only one military power, China. The long term plan is also the breakup of China as the domestic landscape of China looks eerily similar to that of Russia. Both China and Russia are only densely populated in their southern areas. Both China and Russia suffer from disparate assortment of ethnicities and religious groupings that are boiling to liberate themselves in the 21st century. That is essentially the long term global agenda. The Ukraine conflict was inevitable, and is just a little cog in the wheel that is turning inexorably towards a new world order in the not-too-distant future.

As someone coming from the war in Bosnia, people gravely underestimated the severity of war crimes, including Zelenskyy. I'm surprised the world is so shocked and uneducated, as if they expected war antagonists to play by the rules. This is exactly what happens when a country denies your sovereignty and your culture. But the Western World is finally paying attention to what war actually looks like and they'll eventually stop keeping track of the crimes. Even though Ukraine is not to blame for this situation, Zelenskyy is far too optimistic and doesn't realize he'll have to make a compromise to spare his citizens from suffering. Because it can become a hell of a lot worse.

Please let it end as fast as possible. I'm Vietnamese, and I understand how precious freedom is. Our history is full of war and blood, whether it was with China, France, the US. We were in a much worse position than Ukraine, but we never take sides, we do not join any military alliance, and we are friends with everyone. We do business with US and S.Korea, but we are friendly with North Korea. Our biggest partner is China, but Taiwan company is free to do business in Vietnam. Our army would be crushed if China and US want to invade us again, but they just never had a strong enough reason to start a war. But Ukraine and Russia are like brothers, why ZLSky is so obsessed with going toe to toe with Russia. Why can you walk the line as we do? Just being neutral, and utilizing the influent from both sides to your benefit. Human life is the most important. Poland's capitulation was a necessary prerequisite for Hitler's vision for the Third Reich. The only choice Poland had is go down without a fight or go down fighting. Either way, Polish citizens are gonna get killed, Polish men are gonna be slaughtered, Polish women are gonna be rped and Polish children are gonna suffer beyond their worst nightmares. Lmfao🤣 Talk to your brother's🤣 Ask every Eastern bloc country if talking to Russia is a good idea?. Russia has been persecuting, invading and oppressing every country in Eastern Europe for centuries.... FACT!!!!. Do you seriously think Ukraine is better off talking to Putin, than talking to America and Europe?. Every country who has joined NATO has gained unified support and has flourished from it's membership. What does Russia offer.... umm another invasion, just like in 2014 but this time even worse and a Communist, totalitarian rule, rather than a free democracy like those in NATO. Yeah really difficult choice that, hey🤔🤣

Exactly. You have to realize who we have running America. These people forget that Russia has the largest amount of nuclear weapons and if NATO join in the war, that's what we are going to have a nuclear wasteland in Europe. This is America's war, not Ukraine's, but it's their country being wrecked and their people being killed because their leader is a useful idiot.

The analysis overall has been good, except for the last minute. She assumes that Russia had actually gotten more out of Zelensky now than what they had demanded before (neutrality and a guarantee of not joining NATO), but that's rather naive to think that if Putin had gotten that from the get-go, he would've refrained from actually invading. Putin would've likely still invaded because we know now that he was _never_ gonna allow Ukraine to be a sovereign nation. At best, he would probably leave Ukraine alone if he succeeds in installing his own puppet government. But the assumption that Zelensky probably should've given Putin something from the beginning is absurd. Ever heard the saying "give an inch and they'll take a mile" ? That's Vladdy Putin. Zelensky had no choice but to fight, there were lives lost, sure. But Russia experienced the same. And he has managed to rally the world behind his cause, even if it didn't take the form of an actual military involvements from NATO. Russia is hurting just as much as Ukraine, and even if they take Ukraine, it would not be a _victory_

@@melon9680 Agree about his will and courage to pick weapon and fight, but the world order is politics, and he's become a pawn of the West EU and NATO because he's not a politician. His intentions were good but the path chosen wasn't. All the praise, cheer and support has mostly been superficial and he didn't see it through. All Russia asked is stay away from NATO, and if he likes being used as shield of Europe, he's seen its consequences, but had he been a shield for Russian he had nothing to lose. Have you noticed Zelensky doesn't aknoledge what other countries are doing? He keeps saying Ukraine is doing everything without help. That is beyond easy to disprove. Also, had WIOH did a little research, they would have found that it wasn't just Zelensky talking in 2021. The US told them to fix the corruption in their country if they wanted to be a part of NATO. Ukraine chose corruption and ultimately, this war, over the safety of its people. He also lied when he said Ukraine's nukes were removed. Those belonged to the USSR, and only Russia had the codes. Ukraine could not have used them, but Putin could have, and Ukraine is lucky they are out of their country. Now the war is here, and they say no one is helping them defend Europe. That is a slap in the face to everyone paying a price to help them. Even then, I would help them, but I wouldn't believe everything that they say. Much of it is easy to disprove. This news report only plays off of the hype.
