Keep it up, this game deserves way more attention than it gets I hate it. It's literally the best looking most realistic combat simulator

I really like your style of delivery. If your open to suggestions, the text could be a little bigger but more importantly it disappears too quick sometimes depending on the length of the sentence. Great video, thanks.

Thank you I really appreciate that! I’ll work on that! Still getting used to the software hah.

Love it when they fight in forested areas, watching one soldier take out a squad can be interesting lol

Yeah same! I’ll try to include that in future videos, thought I was the only one that enjoyed that lol.

@Warsimulation1997 I plan on making a video soon too, one time I was on the playing as the German defensive on this one winter map and this guy was in such a good position he held off squad after squad for like an hour til he was out of ammo lol I kept him alive the whole game and sent a little rescue mission for him lol

Love this format, you made an excellent work explaining and inviting us in your process ! I've always trouble making my field guns fire, it always seems to have something not working for me sadly... Should the guns have line of sight on the target area ? Or only the gun commander and its spotter ? I usually try to have my commander in visual distance of the target area, and not too far from the guns to communicate + checking the indirect fire sight for the guns. But they usually stay silent :( Anyway, love your videos !!

Glad you enjoy them, thank you! As for artillery: I noticed lelGs seem to struggle with firing from further ranges without direct visual. This is because they were designed to directly engage enemy positions, almost like a bunker buster role. Best thing is to place them in a concelead position, and make sure they can see the intended target, at least from my experience. I haven't really noticed this issue with lefH's though, maybe because of their howitzer properties, not entirely sure. But so far never had an issue with them as long as they're in range and their commander has visual. Hope that helps!

@@Warsimulation1997 Thanks a lot for taking some time explaining this :) I'll try again tonight and focus more on them and micromanage a bit more, sometimes I lose track of it in the grand scale of the battle haha Looking forward for part 5 !!

Yes, Graviteam did a great job on this game and it keeps looking better. I started playing this game when it was I think Kharkov 43 before it turned into Op. Star. The landscape was dreary and you could only put 1 platoon on each 1x1 kilometer square. This game has really evolved.

my MGs never do that sweeping fire seen at 5:10, they just engage point targets without varying their beaten zone, inevitably missing the one guy repeatedly and not creating any meaningful suppression. any idea why that is?
@Warsimulation1997 Жыл бұрын
I think that depends on many factors, distance, elevation, number of enemies etc. Can't tell you for sure. But you could test it out by making a quick battle. Place MGs on a hill at least 800m away from the enemy. Make sure said MGs have clear visual, and make the enemy move on a horizontal line as if they were flanking, that should produce similar results.
