Alex Hirsch accidentally predicting both FNAF and DDLC in a single episode is hands down one of my favorite moments in this show's history.

I like how in this episode, it takes place in a pizzeria in a mall that has animatronics with a self aware video game glitch who killed her programmers and wants to upload someone's brain into her game.

This episode was released in 2012. FNaF was released in 2014 Gravity Falls predicted FNaF and DDLC in the same episode.

This is like a DDLC and FNAF crossover 💀

You can tell this is HEAVILY inspired by Showbiz First, having the iconic head of Billy Bob Second, having the spider hanging in the back. Third, Right behind Hooty Ha (is that his name?) is a very familiar looking animatronic similar to Mitzi Mozzarella.

I don’t think Gravity falls or Scott Cawthon had ripped off anyone, the fear of the animatronics at places like Chuckie cheese has been around for a while. Pretty sure the one beaver animatronic they have in this episode is based directly off a real life animatronic character, too

The fact that this episode came put only a month after fnaf 1 did means that both alex and scott had the idea to make chuck e cheese animatronics look like horror mascots at roughly the same time.

I knew when I saw the episode (never seen Gravity Falls as a kid so I thought I might watch it now) that I had to go on the internet to see if anyone else caught the similiarities. It's obviously a reference to Showbiz / Rock-a-fire Explosion / Chuck E Cheese, but the fact that it talks about how creepy the animatronics were _before_ people were influenced by FNAF is just funny to me. Because people say most people were only scared of animatronics after FNAF released. And then there's Giffany, who makes you think of Monika in DDLC. I wonder now, if in any way, Monika was the slightest inspired by this.
