Arrested, handcuffed, locked in a room. It'll take all his smarts and a little luck for Grunkle Stan to escape the feds.

You know, Stan is actually really smart when you think about it. In order to get his brother back, he spent the last 30 years mastering the very machines his brother made, and is as almost well versed in the abnormal as Ford is.

That's what I've been thinking ever since I saw this episode. He is smarter than you think, a lot actually but they don't hint at it before or even after this episode, he went back to being just street smart and dumb for comedy.
