June 15, 2012 - February 15, 2016 In the span of 3 years and 4 months, Alex Hirsch managed to make us all laugh and cry. This show doesn’t need a Season 3. All good things come to an end, and this, this was a great thing. A masterpiece. A mystery. So much rewatch value, and still so many secrets lie within the show, and even the comics. So, as Bill Cipher once said, “We’ll meet again, don’t know where, don’t know when.” He was right. We’ll all watch the show again. And again. *See you all next summer.*

This show was one of a kind. It wasn't a kids show or anything goofy, it wasn't a comedy, it wasn't anything we could properly define as a genre. This show was a riddle wrapped in an enigma for us. We learned about the characters and the mysteries while learning ourselves about the inner plot and secrets that came with every other episode to come. This wasn't a show we enjoyed, this was Gravity Falls.

I miss this show SO much! The 2 seasons it got were amazing and to this day it is one of my obsessions. I can not longer look at yellow triangles without immediately picturing Bill or sweaters without remembering Mabel. This show was something I really connected with and will never let die. As an aspiring writer, I think back on it's story lines to guide some of my own stories and re watch the episodes often. I connect with Dipper & Mabel more then any fictional character I've ever seen/read. This is the show that lifted me up when I was at a dark place in my mind, and kept me going, and wanting to go on. I love this show and am thankful to Alex Hirsch for sharing himself within it. A lot of Disney shows are cash grabs, but Gravity Falls had soul. It still does, and always will. Am I upset it only got 2 seasons? Yes, but I'll be okay if it never continues. Would I be okay with a third season? Yes and no. As awesome as that would be, something more like what happened with the OG Ben 10 would be better. After the classic series ended, a few years later they continued the story not with a new season or reboot, but a new series following a teenage Ben & Gwen with Ben 10: Alien Force. If Gravity Falls had a continuation, I'd sit in for it. Not a reboot though -_- especially not in today's climate. Reboots coming out rn just dumb down the OG show and focus more on crude humor. For a story driven show like GF, that would be a disservice. As for this video? The song seems like something you'd find in a TV trailer or even a new series announcement trailer. Either way, props to the human who did it. 👍👌🤙🤝

We learned and gained so much from a cartoon that, at first, may have seemed incredibly childish to us all, But with the characters, the mystery, he story, and the villains, the show that was created has inspired millions, and will continue to fo so for years

I was looking at the quotes and listening to the song when something hit me: 1. The Gravity Falls theme sounds similar to The Owl House theme. 2. The creator of Owl House, Dana Terrace, is Alex Hirsch's girlfriend. 3. Stan was married for one day in Vegas and the woman he described matched Eda the Owl Lady. 4. Bill Cypher said he would return... and he and King are awfully similar... they even both claim to be the King of Demons. 5. The Owl House takes place over the span of one summer, just like Gravity Falls did. So, for all of you waiting for that "See you next summer" to come true... it's happening. Now. This cartoon...this show...this was a childhood. I still cry every time I watch the finale. For a show that had 2 seasons, it made a huge impact on everyone that watched it. I still remember when everyone thought McGucket was the author. This show became my obsession for years, I tried to see every easter egg, every code, every reference. This show had so many theories being made because of it, and some people still make theories to this day on if bill cipher is actually alive. Alex Hirsch did an amazing job for this being his first show. It hit everybody in the feels. I remember watching the final episode crying my eyes out. This cartoon will forever be in my life. I miss Gravity Falls so much. This show was a _massive_ part of the earlier years of my childhood, and I’m so glad that I found out about it’s existence (thank you, my friend from elementary school)! This show was such a masterpiece. I had always hoped that one day there would be a third season to the series, but as I grow older, I’ve begun to realize that this show is fine with what it is now. I like to pretend sometimes that this show isn’t over, and that, one day, a third season would be released; it’s still fun to do that sometimes.
