Thanks so much for showing us the blizzard. Where I live in Australia it is sub-tropical. I’ve not seen snow though we have snow in certain places. To see that weather - wow! The bible looks beautiful. The format is stunning and the NKKV is my fav translation. Great video. Thank you 🙏 😊🇦🇺

I just have to say that we are so lucky to have you risk life and limb to get us this Bible review. LOL! Thank you! What an absolutely gorgeous Bible. I got the gray leathersoft and it is very nice. But it doesn't have that blue gilding... But I find that I really like the center column references for the same reason you stated. They are much easier to find, quicker, don't interrupt your reading as much.

Oh my goodness! Thank you for trudging through the snow to your office! The red embelishments and book intros in this bible are beautiful. However, very dissapointed they did not follow through with it in the Open Bible. I love this bible very much because I love those embelishments. Wish I could get in NASB 1995.

I think I would prefer a blue under silver art gilt on the page edges, but it's not a show stopper. Thomas Nelson Bibles have really improved in recent years, and this lovely NKJV is no exception.

I have this exact bible. It is a joy to read and I love the blue edge coloring. What would make this the perfect bible for me would be: 12 point font, references and notes on the bottom vice the center column format, and silver edge guilding over the blue edge dye. Maybe perhaps a darker/slate gray calfskin cover. But this is a beautiful bible and it is fairly easy to read. I love the NKJV translation as well as the KJV and the MEV.

No way was that footage real outside your office! Wow! I would be dead in about 10 seconds if I walked out in that. Crazy! Looks like footage out of a movie. Dude, stay inside lol 🤣 That does however look like a really nice little town that you would see on the Hallmark channel. My wife watches, not me. Lol. Really cool looking bible though. Thomas Nelson has my favorite font and layouts. I really wish that they would come out with one in this same format but in a 12pt. instead of just a 10pt. They are coming out with some really cool stuff, and that blue on the edges looks so amazing. Will probably get one if I can find a good deal on Christian book. I'd say that they're just about right up there with Schuyler as far as readability and their print goes. Awesome review and appreciate you braving the elements to bring us this video. thank you.

And it’s got the CORRECT number of ribbons. One for the OT, one for the NT and one while you’re in church and have to flip back and forth.

Just wish that the NKJV didn't use the old Textus Receptus. Scholarship has advanced leaps and bounds since the 16th century.

I hate red-letter bibles and wish they were banned. But Thomas Nelson's NKJV red-lettering is not that bad, even tolerable. I also like how the Thomas Nelson's NKJVs have a sharp, dark, black font, unlike Crossway's ESVs, which are mostly terrible, and far too light. The problem with NKJV under review, though, is that it appears that the text is jammed into the gutter.
