The Great Central's heritage bus gala is one I have not been to before. I turned out another well organised day full of action. Around 50 busses and four free routes to choose from operated. I took three busses on two of the routes which connected with the GCR trains. Another first for me was riding the Mountsorrel Branch which has some very sharp curves and gradients so a slow line. It was interesting to see the driver being instructed on the first train I got on the branch. With so much to do I could of spent all weekend there rather than a day.
