I love Cowell, his techniques have been influential on myself. His music is so fun to listen to and he deserves more acknowledgement for his brilliant creations! how many people would you think recognises his brilliant symphonies? of course we know the favourite Banshee and Tiger!

I'm looking forward to listening to the Cowell symphonies soon-I usually do so while exercising and right now I'm just a little over halfway done with the Mahler cycle. His Piano Concerto is phenomenal as well!

Sad that no one has seen fit to record his complete symphonies with modern sound (and I know what a bear the first will be to perform...makes me want to hear it all the more).

Cowell is soo underated

Cowell combines the odd timbres and atmospherics of George Crumb (my personal fav composer), and the pleasant tones and organizations of Debussy. Amazing writer, supremely underrated.
