Following this story from the beginning (Anastasia)...I never could understand why she was always so surprised when someone close to her died......she was told that the price of her saving Ahmed's life was to see all she loved pass before her and was clearly asked if she was willing to pay that price....she said yes....now all her children are dead but one and he won't be too long either...grandchildren, hidden love, everything she cared for either dead literally or figuratively as in the case of Atike.

I love how beautiful and complex they portrait a relationship between a mom and her son. So deep, we don`t usually see this much effort into two people relationship when it is not a couple

This is what shows that Kosem and murad were both in love with each other they were both to an extent good, but life put them in trials that they were forced to turned their backs to each other … the last moment when died murad hugs Kosem as she is welcoming him with her arms shows everything ……

Another place....another time....Kosem and Kemankes.....could have been a love story. I think she did have deep feelings for him, and we know he did for her. Wanting to remain true to her dead husband (who she dearly loved) .....and for the sake of the dynasty.....she put state affairs first in her life.....keep it at all costs, constant concern of who was loyal etc., soldiers and staff etc. etc. She wanted a clear mind to focus on the matter at hand....the dynasty.

After sultan suleyman no king looks like a king...bkmmnot even worthy. Not selim murad mehmed ahmed and kosem sons ..no one. Sultan suleyman had real characteristics of a king

I just saw the film"The edge of heaven" by Fatih Akin. The turkish actress reminded me of the younger kossem.Suddenly I realized it was Nurgul who plays the elder kossam! the resemblanse is amazing!

The desire for throne doesn't left Kosem too...As a mother she must teach Murad how to handle state independently..but she doesn't want that but always she sticks her nose in everything and want to be a sultan.....in the name of care for sultan....pity murad.. feeling sorry for him❤😢In reality she doesn't want to leave "Her majesty" position.. that's the truth..how sad...
