Very cool, I like your Barlow style knife reviews. I've learned a lot. my Dad has carried a Barlow style knife on the farm since I was a kid, probably longer. A couple of years ago I bought him a really nice one and I had to get him an inexpensive one at the same time, because I knew he would never use the nice one. I might have to get him a Beer Scout.

I just ordered a GEC beer scout for my farther in law, I don't own any GEC, but I think I may get myself one for a edc! Thanks for sharing! 👍 👍

Shucks, I didn't even realize ya made this video until a couple days later. They really have the #15 frame in all its configurations down pat, don't they? Just a sweet little knife. Nice & tight........and even with an ever so slight imperfection or two, about as good as we will ever find in a production knife among traditionals. I love how the screwdriver tip seems slightly crooked at first glance, but it's actually made that way on purpose, because when your holding the knife for actual use, that screwdriver tip is all of a sudden perfectly horizontal, the way it should be. I think other knife makers would have missed that little detail, if they were to make something like this. Another great video. Thanks Rob!

I never thought I'd get into traditional knives but you and randy started making the idea bounce around in my head. Then my dad doesn't carry a knife and can't seem to be able to understand how a flipper frame lock works so I've been looking at traditional's for him and I think I need one in my life. I'm looking at this one or the cap lifter I believe it's called for my dad. But I want something from Derek's line but I think there always out of stock

Love it and now I am being Drawn Towards the Good Side of the Force, it's made my mind up to buy one, not that it takes all that much these days for me to buy a GEC these days.. :)

I have to search the retail shop to even find a bottle which needs a bottle opener tool, these days. We're NOT buying into your salesman gossip story telling approach! This IS the Internet you're on! Where situations change rapidly overnight! The product is getting less famous with each day that passes. These knives are reaching fewer and fewer people's hands. People who can't buy when they want to, forget all about these out of date things and get a new improved item and never look back, never breaking a fingernail typing on the computer keyboard, to get on the exclusive rick list of buyers who are buying PLASTIC HANDLED knives!
