I prefer the longer content. Heck I'd love to spend a weekend on the creek with you. :) I've never panned any "paydirt" or "pay to pan" stuff before. I lost my pan kit quite a while ago while moving and never replaced it yet. I do want one of your kits and hopefully an autograph on it when I order. Thanks for the content for those of us that can't get out for the last 5 years.

For me, it's not so much about learning more about your panning technique as learning about how your videos are put together and edited. It's always assumed that there's a lot more behind the scenes footage than we usually sees so it's fascinating to see it uncut. Dunno about the rest of you but I'd be happy to see more extended videos. Might save you a bit of editing time Shane. :)

I love the extended versions. I watch them when I pan your paydirt. I watch the others too but these are even more perfect for being longer and more detailed. This one was especially helpful because I was panning the Impossible paydirt. Very similar looking stuff.

Extended version is great for showing 'how-to'. Some channels do the abbreviated version. I still like seeing the whole process knowing I can always fast forward! 6 of one 1/2 dz of another.... Nice to see you in action again.

@5:30 It's a Charlevoix Stone -- cousin of the Petoskey Stone. Its coral component is the Favosites. Love your paydirt videos -- love this extended version. As always, super cool video. We do enjoy the extended version, but the edited versions are nice when you don't have 45 minutes to commit to watching a video. But when we have the time, we do appreciate seeing the entire process top to bottom. The trick for blowing the black sand off the paper will come in super handy. Always seem to learn something new, thanks for sharing.

I enjoy the longer versions of the videos more then the shorter ones because it actually shows the actual panning process. I went to Arapahoe Bar while I was in Littleton but Clear Creek was raging and I couldn't get to any of the panning area. I am planning another trip there in December and would love to meet you there to find out the actual boundaries of the free area. That is, if you are able to meet at that time.
