Study your pre-trip while you still in the classroom, memorize the script before you get to the yard so you can test out of your pre-trip as soon as possible. If you are having trouble understanding any maneuvers, watch videos on KZfaq so you can understand and practice. Take your time on the road and don’t be too hard on yourself, it can be difficult learning how to maneuver a tractor- trailer. If your are having trouble with driving and your have a test date ask LB or another instructor to take you on the road before your test. Lastly, practice everything as much as you can!

@@PS-gh1pq I took mine at atlas. Dont worry if you fallow what he does you will be just fine I didn't have a truck I practice on my vehicle. Just relax and make sure you do the brake test correct if you think you missed something just go back and do it again. Good luck.

Don't punch the brakes after the fan down. Keep fanning till they pop. They will fail you if you touch them.

Can you actually say I would check my trailer brakes the same as a checked my tractor brakes or do you actually have to go through the whole thing?
