Don't bother. Much of it is closed to the public. There is no good reason for this. It should all be opened up.

A beautiful building but the majority of the building is closed off to the public which is a shame . Has forest lawn thought about building a similar mausoleum maybe at the Hollywood locations for new generations of families ? By the time a lot of us younger folks in their 20’s pass on assuming we die at an older age their be no property in the great mausoleum to purchase as I’ve been informed it’s almost sold out. A lot of families may be forced to look else where if forest lawn doesn’t provide mausoleum property that’s indoor and offers privacy like the great mausoleum which is what most ppl like....I’m aware of the outdoor mausoleum crypts you guys have at some of your locations. You guys will have competition with Hollywood forever cemetery who will build a 5 story mausoleum housing 30k crypts by 2035.

That is why I would not go. There is no reason for these areas to be restricted.

@@fnd111 lots of celebrities buried their and really expensive burial plots . Same valued near 1 million dollars inside the great mausoleum. They don’t want anyone defacing the fancy marble . Those family’s paid a real high price for privacy and they’re getting it .
