Great Unique Water Feature Part 1 - Terry Pratchett fans will LOVE
This great unique water feature, inspired by Terry Pratchett, using a cardboard, tinfoil base and applying our super all-weatherproof sculpting medium on top so it can still outside all year round in ANY weather.
In Part 1, we will show you how we made the armature and sculpted some of the base parts.

This was such fun to build. Ultimately we had 18 volunteers coming, on and off, to help on the Monday and Thursday sculpting nights. 3 months!! Everyone got to build and own some part of the whole piece. What a journey!

Awesome! It's looking great already and I'm looking forward to seeing the progress. One burning question I have is: how do you prepare the bottom for installation? I'm assuming that you'd want it bolted or 'installed' in some fashion, other than just sitting on a flat surface, yes? I've found information on how to prep a large sculpture for installation so hard to find! I'm hoping you can enlighten me. :) Thanks!

Honestly, it will just sit on a flat surface. The whole sculpture comes apart into three pieces, the disk, the Turtle and elephants, and the base. They all slot together with gravity. If it were to be placed in a compromised location, we would consider installing stainless steel bolts into a foundation

@@PalTiya thanks! I was hoping to do simple little zodiac themed projects and wanna do a little bow and arrow for Sagittarius ♐ and a little set of scales for Libra ♎
