This is a taste test/review of the Great Value Toaster Pastries in the Frosted Strawberry, S’mores, Brown Sugar Cinnamon and Chocolate Fudge flavors. Each 6-count box was $1 each and the 16-count box was $1.48.

My favorite flavor for a toaster pastry is also brown sugar cinnamon. And the best brand of that flavor imo, as well as the best toaster pastry I've ever had, is Annie's Homegrown Brown Sugar Cinnamon with Frosting. The brown sugar cinnamon flavor is spot on and it's not overly sweet like some toaster pastries are. To me it's the best!

Awwww shucks!! I just went on walmart.com..and the 16 count costs $2.68!!...and the 8 count are $1.48!!..I was really hoping to score a great deal after I heard how much you boys paid for them! (Although, they did have frosted cherry, frosted blueberry, and frosted wild berry plus all the flavors you tried on .com!😋😋)...Maybe those prices you mentioned are only available in store (which wouldn't be quite fair)😞...The "Pop Tarts" price for the 16 pack was a dollar more! I am not surprised that these were better! They look softer and have more filling! Additionally they are keep it real by giving you how many calories are in one pouch... instead of saying for just one because let's face it.... no one eats just the one :/

Unfortunately as I've said before we only get the Kelloggs here. Still would love you to try these in the Air Fryer for a video. Also at the end I'm sure Kevin meant "How moist" the Great Value is instead of "Dry"

I agree with you in that the generic Toaster Pastries are better than Kelloggs Pop Tarts but I actually like the chocolate fudge ones the most out of the ones you reviewed. I think they have a pleasant chocolate flavor that is better than the Smores. Also, while I am partial to Toaster Pastries than Kelloggs Pop Tarts, the nice think about Pop Tarts is that they have more flavors like Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Cinnamon Roll, Vanilla Milkshake, and my absolute favorite Pumpkin Spice. Toaster Pastries need to make a Pumpkin Spice Pastry! I am surprised that we haven't seen Kelloggs come out with flavors like Hazelnut, Coconut, or Key Lime Pie. My question to you is this, what flavor of Pop Tart would you like to see? For me, I would like to see Marshmallow Fluff, Carrot Cake, and Oatmeal Raisin flavors.

Thanks for this video!! I always wondered if the great value strawberry poptarts were good. I live in Texas so I get the H-E-B brand. It’s way better than the name brand. I just recently tried the name brand again. I didn’t like the taste. I will have to try great value soon! 😊

I finally tried this brand and the S'mores were a lot different than the brand I was buying, which were the ones by Clover Valley. For Great Value, the frosting covers from edge and to edge but the biggest difference was the filling was so gooey and abundant that I was able to scoop out some of the inner filling with a spoon; and that was unheated! The ones by Clover Valley have less filling, and have barely any chocolate or marshmallow flavor. No wonder why I didn't like the S'mores by Clover Valley and no wonder why people Kevin and Andrew love the S'mores by Great Value. Not all generic brands are the same.

been down that road, will NEVER buy any pop tarts other then KELLOGS! THEY are the BEST! nothing compares to them! its NOT worth saving $ by getting cheaper brand of pop tarts!
