Onboard GWR's brand new Class 800 bi-mode multiple unit on a trip to Bristol Temple Meads! This train is VERY fast, and as far as I know, Bristol Parkway marks the end of electrification, so it made sense that the driver lowered the pantograph and ran on diesel power from Bath Spa. You can easily notice the acceleration difference in both modes - in diesel power, it slowly but gradually speeds up. In electric power, the train simply zooms off! (but it is still a smooth acceleration) My rating for this trip is below the time stamps. Enjoy!
