The temples of Central Java are still not fully understood. Some of these buildings stand majestic and impressive, but do not provide any information regarding their existence. But even so, they are still monuments that prove a civilization that once existed in the classical archipelago. In this research, there are 4 temples that are considered the most mysterious, and are not yet fully understood by historians.
The temples are scattered in several places. Bogang Temple does not have a building but leaves fragments of Buddha statues which are impressive in terms of size. Umbul Temple also disappeared, leaving behind a shrine that still functions today. Merak Temple is a special case, because even though it is buried in the ground, this temple was able to be restored well to towering heights. His brother, Candi Karangnongko, was not so lucky.
It turns out that there are many unique facts about Indonesian history that are worth looking at, of course from a new perspective. For example, about Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms in Indonesia, Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms in the archipelago, ancient Javanese philosophy, ancient Javanese philosophy, even Javanese habits in ancient Javanese culture, both in the form of writing and temples.
