Played a game yesterday and it said i had like 8 innacuracys cause i missed mate in 8 moves and had to sac like half of my things and the reason i had 8 innacuracies is because i could have done it like 6 times and the other 2 was cause im like 1100 elo and not that good

@@solarvrgorillatagare you sure it was 8 moves and not 4 moves (4 for white and black) ? If it was actually 8 moves then gg I feel like as an 1100 you should be able to spot a lot of mates 4. Safe checks with active pieces and a weak king position.

@@inproduction7605 i dont know why the elo rating is so weird, i was once in 400 elo and 99% of players where playing like stockfish with 0 blunder and 5 briliant moves and 50 best moves. when i was 400 i just thought that i was bad but now on 700 i can see that the 400-500 range is just very weird. 50% are really bad 40% are too good for that elo and 10% are using stockfish btw if the game recognizes it you get only a refund for the lost points

Now consider this: Before he ever touched the queen, Marshall saw this idea and played for the position that would make it possible. Frank Marshall was one of the most aggressive tacticians who ever wielded the pieces. He was also the one who first invented and essayed his eponymous gambit, the Marshall Attack, against the nearly invincible world champion, Jose Raul Capablanca. Capa, who reigned from 1921-27, when he was finally dethroned by the workaholic mad genius Alexander Alekhine, knew what he was in for when Marshall uncorked his secret prepared variation -- but he took the challenge and won. But the gambit was no flash in the pan. Even though Marshall didn't succeed, the idea stuck around. With a couple of refinements over its debut, it's still played today, and I've used it successfully against an IM.

There's 2 ways that saves this position though... Pawn to C6 or Queen to D4

@@reality_101 first of all its Qe5 and f3 but both don't work because Qe5 is met with Ne2+ If Kh1 Rxh2 is mate but if Qxe2 Qxh2 is also mate so that covers Qe5 Now f3: f3 is met with Ne2+ , Kh1 and Qxh2 is mate once again. I hope you understand

It’s good to know even in the old days they made the mistake of going for these one move attacks. That rook attack on the queen was a one mover that stopped protecting the important e2 square.

Would knight to e2 also be a good move since after they go into the corner you got rook to f2. If they take it's mate in 2 after queen to e1. And if they take the queen it's mate in one with the rook
