It's funny, but the entire Irish game plan seemed to change in step with O'Driscoll's career. When he was young and exciting they played an expansive brand of rugby. When he lost his pace and began to rely on his physicality and intelligence in the latter part of his career, the Irish began to become more physical and dull. When he retired they seemingly stopped playing any rugby whatsoever.
