Greece: Hiking With Me From Oia to Fira, AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! 🇬🇷

Hello Everyone!
When you are staying in Santorini, it's possible to hike from Oia to Fira (or reverse, depending on where your base is located) - so watch this video to know what to expect before attempting this hike! The views along the path make it worth it for that alone!! :)

Hi Giseli Beautiful video as always 6th thumbs up 👍 The views were breathtaking. To answer your question I never have the pleasure to go on a hike like this. All my hikes were walking in the woods which I liked on a hot day because I didn't have to worry about the sun. I prefer hiking in the shade. Did you hiked back? That would be over 12 miles of hiking 🚶‍♀️ Interesting creature 🐊 9:51 and the cat 🐈 was so cute and adorable 16:25 I was surprised to sea cable cars near the end of your beautiful video. No donkeys this time. Thanks again for this beautiful video Take care and stay safe 😊👍

I ended up staying in Fira for most of the day so in the evening it was too dark to walk back. Luckily, when going from Fira -> Oia there is a local bus which will drive you back for a small fee. Really convenient! Thanks for watching 😊👍

This is probably among the most stunning trails, the view is breathtaking. I'd like to try it so I hope my journey to Santorini is coming soon... Do you know if there is a similar trail along the caldera between Fira and the southern tip of the island (Cape Akrotiri)?

The only trail I ended up doing was this one from Oia -> Fira. I visited the southern coast of the island where I only went to the beach, but didn't hike any trails in that area. There's so many other places to explore but I didn't do any other hikes besides this one. Thanks so much for watching and I hope you have a blast in Santorini! 😃

I'll be in Santorini for 1 day in Octobre (cruise). This is really what we're looking to do. Sounds like a nice hike. Is the path directions well indicated? Don't want to get lost and take wrong routes.

Thats awesome. For the most part it is, there's lots of signs posted and most of the hike is along the coastline. There's some parts where you'll need to walk along a roadside or in between some hotels but it's nothing too misleading :) Have a nice trip & thanks for watching 👍👍

That's great! These videos are from around the end of May, right before what the locals refer to "peak season" beginning there. We started the hike at around 8am, I knew beforehand that it could take about 3 hours to get to Fira (more with stopping to take some photos/videos ;)) so I wanted to be there by lunch time.
