Greek influence on Russian is perhaps the last cultural export of Greece. All European languages contain a sizeable Greek vocabulary, but in Russian there are many more Greek words, due to the religious influence. Apart from the vocabulary, if you juxtapose a religious text in Greek with its Slavonic translation, you will notice that the amount and the order of words in each text is the same. The only difference could be where Greek uses definite articles, which do not exist in the Slavic languages. Anyone who has tried to translate a text into a different language knows that the word order - and the number of words - can never be the same, if you want the meaning in the target language to be understood. Obviously, those who translated the Church books from Greek to Slavonic translated word-by-work and ignored completely Slavonic syntax. I guess that the first texts of this kind must have been incomprehensible to the Slavic listeners; be it as it may, I believe that in due course of time these listeners got used to Greek syntax in their language, and this must have influenced the structure of Slavonic and, through it, Russian.

Πολύ καλό ως ιδέα, αλλά δεν πέτυχε δυστυχώς στην εκτέλεση. Οι δύο γλώσσες και πολιτισμοί πραγματικά μοιράζονται πάρα πολλά πράγματα. Όποιος Έλληνας μαθαίνει ρωσικά η αντιστρόφως, το αισθάνεται και δεν μιλάμε μόνο για το λεξιλόγιο, αλλά γενικότερα για την "κοσμοθεώρηση" των δύο γλωσσών, αν μπορούμε να χρησιμοποιήσουμε εδώ αυτό τον όρο. Το βίντεο αυτό ξύνει την επιφάνεια αλλά τίποτε παραπάνω. Επίσης, καλή και χρήσιμη η τεχνητή νοημοσύνη, αλλά έχει (ακόμη) περιορισμένες δυνατότητες! Θέλει δούλεμα το κείμενο, αλλιώς δεν έχει συνοχή! 6 στα 10 για την προσπάθεια και τις καλές προθέσεις!
