Love the 150 vmax sho. I got a 115 cause couldn't get a 150 anywhere here in Alberta lol

Those perch were nice flaying size. The wallys were nice to. Perch are one of the best fresh water fish. I love to flay, batter and deep-fry them with a little sauce fries and garlic bread.

Man they were loving the slip bobber bit that day! I got some perch by me that day too but none that big, and one walleye, and several other species.
@CNCoutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Yes they were, absolutely love watching bobbers go down! Sounds fun, hope you got a good meal out of it!

That's some good eating right there! Those Gander Mountain Tourney Series rods are great. I bought two of the really cheap when GM went out of business and wish I had bought more! Got mine paired with Pfleuger Supreme XT 30's and love them.

That’s my go to for perch and walleye. I’m a fan of the spicy stuff

On a side note…. We have very similar boats, except mine is the Voyaguer 175 shadow series with a 90 hp Yamahammer. I go to Port somewhat regularly and like taking people along. If you’d ever be interested in trading a trip (GB for Port) that’d be sick. Was there last weekend and got into some kings. Let me know if you’d ever be down.

Which size wobble bobber are you using? 1/16 or 1/8?
@CNCoutdoors Жыл бұрын
In this video i was using 1/2 because at the time they were very hard to find. Ideally i would have been using 1/4oz for perch/ walleyes. Remember, you can always add weight so don’t be afraid to use a bigger bobber size

What a days fishing! Do you set those slip bobbers just on bottom or just off bottom?
@CNCoutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Sure was! On the bay i like to set them at least 1.5’ off bottom to keep away from the gobies
@rorytowne94473 жыл бұрын
Just curious what were you catching the walleyes on. Thanks
@CNCoutdoors3 жыл бұрын
We got a couple on shiver minnows and the others were all on night crawlers

Are you locating these fish on humps or flat bottoms?
@CNCoutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Humps, rock piles, and zebra mussel beds
@bad_vaporizer3 жыл бұрын
@@CNCoutdoors I came out there once on a Saturday and every hump I found on my map there were at least 8 or 9 boats on it already. Went home empty handed. I don't like to squeeze in.
@CNCoutdoors3 жыл бұрын
@@bad_vaporizer yeah i hear ya. Saturdays can be tough but there are plenty of opportunities out there. Just have to know where to look. Every trip out on the bay is a learning experience, you’ll get em next time!
@bad_vaporizer3 жыл бұрын
@@CNCoutdoors are you using side imaging to find these rock piles?
@CNCoutdoors3 жыл бұрын
@@bad_vaporizer yup. Find what your looking for on the Gps and then find it on the side imaging.
