I think Nixon is gonna surprise a lot of ppl in the slot. With Hafleys secondary coaching history you’ve gotta absolutely think his ability to assess a players potential is pretty dang solid. The packers don’t toss out money lightly and we gave him 6 mill a year. Hafley came out and said he watched every snap of Nixons and was rly excited to coach him and you’ve gotta think that had a massive influence on us paying Nixon.

I watched a breakdown of the WR's by Chris Simms, wether you like him or not. Great breakdown and when you heard the in depth analysis on the explosive plays and broken tackles, and especially his athletic traits, it sure changed my mind on who is the better pick. Who knows how it all shakes out and Harrison may be that dude,but Nabers is no joke and it's gonna be a toss up i think.But you cant go wrong with whoever you get

You drafted my favorite DE, Kris Jenkins, and I like Cole Bishop. Bishop might be better than DeJean. I'm not so high on Edgerrin Cooper. I'd rather draft Jeremiah Trotter, Cedric Gray, Payton Wilson, or wait to draft Tommy Eichenberg, or Tyrice Knight.

Here comes the dream draft (potentially possible) many mocks have dejean falling to 25 move to safety, trade up from 41 offering pick 88 and 126 to 32 snag kool aid, now this gets a little crazy but a next years second and pick 91 to move back into the second round this year around pick 50-55 pick up edgerrin cooper, our second rounder at 58 Jonathan brooks, totally unrealistic but I think I’d have a wet dream for this

I’m in on doubling down at CB. If Stokes cannot overcome his injury challenges we need two. Nixon is not the answer at Nickel; great back up but not our starter. Need an outside and nickel corner if we are to be Super Bowl contenders next year.

Like the trade up. However, I think I'm starting to be sold on Nate Wiggins. I know he doesn't meet the size requirements but neither did Jayden Reed last year. The guy has speed to keep up with these top guys. We both value Cooper higher than PFF so that was a good pick. I would have preferred Kiran Amegadjie over Kris Jenkins. Then I would have taken Trey Benson. Later rounds I were good. I think running back might be more valuable because even though we got Dillon back they want to run this offense through the running back and if Jacobs goes done they will want a solid back up not a 7th round guy. (Yes I understand value can be found later in the draft.)

Jenkins is a very good player but Kristian Boyd or McKinnley Jackson can be drafted later. I'd rather trade 58 (93 points) to the Jets for picks 72 and 111 (95 points).

Hot take: packers won’t take a LB with any of their first 3 picks. I’d argue pash rush/big body interior DL and secondary would help this team the most in the short run aka next 2 years (which kinda has to be a focus with all of the rookie contracts and SB window) as the NFC north has a pretty solid amount of boundary skill players now and the possibility of much much better opponent QB play. Shore up the back end and pash rush and make offenses more one dimensional. In the flip side is love to see us take a big bodied versatile tackle who could either play guard or push walker into the guard position. I think we go OL in the 1st, then CB, safety, LB

Packers breakdown Gute is looking strongly at LT Amarius Mims from Georgia because he has the highest ceiling out of all Tackles in this draft that and Gute loves Georgia Mims played amazing against top talented players like JT from Ohio state and played amazing against James Pearce from Tennessee which is probably a top 10-20 pick in next years draft The other tackle is Patrick Paul from Houston GB likes these highly skilled high ceiling athletic type of players that they can develop. As far as Corner yeah GB brought in Iowa State DB T.J Tampa because they want a physical outside DB but I have a better corner that NOBODY is talking about a small school SLEEPER PICK Jarius Monroe out of Tulane he dominated at the East/West shrine game got 2 picks and didn’t even get a invite to the combine. Against USC he picked off Caleb Williams the top QB in this draft. I think he is more athletic than Tampa and quicker. Monroe is 6-2 205lbs is a leader on defense has great instincts with huge length very physical and is a great tackler and I don’t think he won’t give up the underneath stuff to twitchy wideouts which I think Tampa will struggle with more than Monroe.

Arnold is an awesome athlete, but Kool-aid isn't a drop off to draft up and lose a important draft pick .. they both come from a great coaching team that put players in the position to succeed and ready them for the NFL.. Kool-aid is considered one of the most intelligent CBs in the draft that can play multiple positions.. I love Arnold but would keep my 3rd round pick for another impact player and select Kool-aid.. The D line could absolutely add an aggressive athlete like Fiske..Cooper could still come at # 58.. Bishop is an awesome fit for GB , Excellent mock

I would like to see the Packers 1st 3 draft picks go Cornerback, Safety, and Linebacker. Johnny Newsome would be an awesome draft pick coming in my mind. There is too much top tier OLine talent to not take 1 or 2 early, I say Brian Gutekunst will double down and take an OLine in the 1st round and 1 in the 2nd round, as he likes to do. Especially now that their cupboard is bare, as they lost all their depth. They need a couple of players they can plug in and play immediately if a starter comes down with an injury. I can see the Packers going OLine. They need to infuse it with top tier talent on the 1st day and hope that they can pan out. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

The Packers NEED a box safety. Jayden Hicks should be the pick at 58, not Jenkins. In a 4-3, your edge rushers become DL which means the Packers will have 10 DL already on the roster. The Packers will NOT keep more than 8 on the 53. If they pick Jenkins, what three DL/edge guys will they dump? Kris Jenkins is NOT the pick at 58. I will also point out that if they draft Cole Bishop, they will have THREE deep safeties and NO BOX SAFETY.

Sttongly disagree with using a day 2 pick on IDL. We have had such good luck with later round DTs over the years... id rather see us go safety or OL there.

I don't think the Packers are interested in Edge Cooper. I think he is a little small and I don't think he interviewed well. I think they take a flier on Payton Wilson if he drops to the 3rd or just take some late guys like Curtis Jacobs. OL is stacked so Gute will get a bunch in the mid-late rounds. Good job trading up for Arnold that is a home run and I think Gute is also eyeing up CB for his first pick.

Do not love the idea of using 25+88 for a slot. Now if you think he's a McDuffie who can do both, cool. Worth it...but not for just slot. Fautanu is my favorite...though if Alt or Fashanu falls...(doubt Alt goes past 7 or Fashanu past ~12)...but worth it.
