I learned years ago to use my bedroom as a packing staging zone. Everyone brings their suitcase, and then I send them on multiple, focused gathering missions. "Bring back 8 pair of underwear. Great. Put those in the suitcase. Now, go get 8 pairs of socks. Awesome! Next us, shorts and shirts." It works great for kids and the husband, too. Y'all never cease to make me laugh, and Penn did completely pull off the eyeliner!

excellent scaffolding, Kim. I'm the same. Right now, we're planning our christmas trip to finally see family overseas. we will be traveling from summer to winter, and then from snowy-winter to mild-winter. It's lots of layers to figure out, as well as things that can be worn to trampoline parks and church, concerts, and walking through some of the great cities of the US in potentially inclement weather. Figuring out the logistics across the weight limit for luggage is. . . yeah. I think i'll just be doing it for all of us. As well as planning the whole trip, and making the chicken wraps.

Great job, Penn!!! 👏 **side note: whenever we pack for trips, I usually have to check all of my kids' clothes, too because they usually pack random stuff that they don't need clothes-wise, so I can relate to Kim in that aspect. Great job you guys!!! 😍 your videos! (Can you please have these songs added to itunes though or Spotify? I would LOVE to listen to them on a daily basis)

That eyeliner is making me laugh so hard I'm having trouble listening. 🤣 I forget their lead singer's name, but that's called commitment to a part! 😄 Found it: Billy Joe Armstrong. Penn was emulating him perfectly 😆 And whatever tech you used to stimulate the background singers was spot-on.

So true! Summer camps are up and running since lockdown is not as strict but so many things opened in fall and spring. Unfortunatly places just don't have enough staff as usal to also match the capacity parents need for summer. Be nice and kind to kid staff, they are trying their best. Love this montage of songs, totally fits

@@hydehouse If this is directed at me I am settled down. I work in music and have for decades so I was stating a fact.. Green Day we're never emo and we're never classified is emo. Black eyeliner does not make somebody emo because many genres of music in their dress style used black eyeliner. My generation we learned real early how to have discussions while still being settled down.

Lol. The packing thing is so accurate for kids Penn Charles' age. My nephew is 13 now, but when he was around 11, he showed up for a weekend at my house once with like 5 t-shirts (for only 3 days mind you), pants that no longer fit him, and no underwear. For some reason he'd been trusted to pack his own bag. He ended up wearing boxers and shorts that he'd grown out of and were tight on him for most of the next day, until his mom showed up in the afternoon to drop off his clothes and laptop charger so he could do his school work.

Soooooo funny!!! I drove our four kids around so much, I had my license plate changed to "Leemo" because I was a chauffeur!
