I KNEW it was possible with gel! Two salons I've been to so far kept telling me they can't do it with gel, only with dip and acrylic!

Same here! I always find pictures in Pinterest, I go to the salon and ask for one of them and I always find my self with a non ombre manicure! They give me lame excuses that: that in the picture is gel/ acrylic/ normal polish, it won't work in your case. Or, this is done with sponge/ brush/ air, It won't work in your case. The paint would look bad, that is photoshopped it's not real, next time that I will have the right tools, etc. I' ve been treated like ombre is a science and I ask too much!

This is the only way I can manage to do an ombre. I can't get sponges to work and I hate the splotch like texture look. These are amazing! Your technique is exceptional!

Yes i hate it toooo!! Everyone says they buff theirs to get rid of it but i feel like you can still see it on mine. I only do with the brush now. Ive done ONE good ombre with a sponge and that was over a year ago 💀

I've tried this but the paint clumps up or gets really tacky when trying to do the fade and then it ruins. It's not as easy as it seems.

Are you using gel or regular nail polish? I don’t think this would work with regular polish as it air dries super quick, whereas gel will only set under UV/LED light.

Currently, there’s someone still use this way to do ombre, but this way is too long to finishing customer nail ombre full set. If you are so busying that during time you have crowds the customer. You shouldn’t do this way.
