I actually like my PVS-7 over my my pvs14 monocular honestly. From my point of view it's actually not horrible mine is equipped with gen 3 milspec green phosphor image intensifier tube, and is a milsurp unit from a us army armory. I can't complain about it. People hate on it because they don't guve it an actual try, most of the units I've seen reviewed are old gen 2 units and cheap clone units, not even the real unit itself, most of em by agm global, and ATN are russian/Chinese made with gen 2+ tubes in em and aren't even quality. The depth perception isn't even what people claim it's actually easy to walk around at night and shoot with it. I can drive with it on no problems. Most of the haters who hate em either wasted there money on quad NVGs, duals, and are outright don't actually use nods accept brag about how they bought quality nods, or they've just never tried em in real life and base their opinion and facts upon someones shitty review of just trashing the unit and not even giving it a try themselves.
