Your videos are always so well thought out & put together. I keep my notifications on & rush to watch every single time. The science I’ve learned here has literally brought my hair to a length I’ve never seen in my adult life. And when it comes to moisture, nothing gets mine right quite like your Aloe vera spritz.. Yes. I love how she doesn't just tell you things and that's it. She understands that when you talk the science of things most people won't understand you so you need to use visuals and break the words down for people to understand you. I see why her channel is successful. She doesn't just jump on the Tube and get an attitude with her audience and talk down on other Tubers nor talk like she is the God of Hair. And she speaks so calming and intelligent.

Before I could buy products like conditioners for my hair, the only way for me to moisturise my hair was with water and shea butter. I would apply water to my hair then coat in an oil. And it worked! Of course my hair stays moisturised for longer now that I have conditioners with humectant and stuff. But the basic principle of water and something to retain the moisture, works.

I love that you break down the science of our hair & show us how to utilize methods for our specific hair types on top of that. It's rare to see anyone pull out scientific facts when talking about natural hair & it just doesn't make sense to follow a tutorial when you don't even understand the biology of your own hair. So thank you thank you thank you. More influencers should do research like this before making videos saying what will & won't work.

Per a chemist I listened to recently, 'conditioned' and 'moisturized' are synonyms. So your hair is not stiff when it's conditioned, is the same as saying your hair is not stiff when it's moisturized. Conditioners are moisturizers, etc. My favorite way to condition my hair is water and sealing with shea butter. It makes a lovely fluffy twist out as well.
