ZZ Plant Care:
-Keep them in indirect light or indoor places and avoid direct sunlight.
-use well draining potting mixes.
-Water them once a week do not over water them or do not let them to sit in water.

I've had my leaves in pots for 10 months and no growth. Tubers grew with roots, leaves are still alive but NO signs of sprouts! I can't believe you got these results in only 90 days. So impressed! I will wait as long as it takes for my little leaves!

Same. Leaves sitting in the pot for months, there is a root system but no new growth

It's not possible to have this much growth in just 90 days. It takes 6-9 months.

Same result for me living in Hawaii. 10 months and just starting to see small pea sized rhizomes with tiny shoots. I propagated in water. This gives me hope!!

I propagated my zz plant leaf by water and in garden soil....and in both cases they resulted amazing. The soil one got rhizome and roots, water one is still in process but I can see a small rhizome though that apex of leaf seemed drying. The garden soil zz leaf propagation was exciting cause the pot was outside in full sun exposure and I watered the pot almost everyday. And still it rooted and did not rot. I planted it in another container keeping it outside but this time chose a little shady place and water it little bit daily coz as per my experience the place where I live is hot and I feel it requires water. I had tough time understanding it. Thanks to GOD ALMIGHTY for his grace that this plant propagated and staying healthy.

My leaf is at 66 days, I have a 3/4" root and pearl size rizome. I don't think I will get a stem with all those leaves at 90 days. Good for you!

Did you try this method? Because cocopet is a moisture retaining substitute and ZZ planates doesn't require frequent water

They don’t mention that this will take FOREVER in a cold, dry climate like mine in winter. I use a heating mat under my cuttings and saplings to simulate a tropical environment.

don't know what sort of water or bull dust do you use but I never got anything in 30 days to get to that stage will take 90 days with temperature average 24 Celsius in most cases use rain water?

I don't believe those growths start to come out in just 3 months, cuz this process actually takes time, in my experience by doing it, it took 7 months to start seeing the new leaves to grow!

Sweetie, I have nearly 3 decades experience & I can tell you this happens in 1-4mths if done in the right season, setting & with the right boosters. You really shouldnt go around calling people liars based on solely your own experience. Smh.

They grow super slow, I've had a zz leaf growing roots in a few inches of water for 4months and they're still too little to take to soil. I think putting in soil is a faster method.
