Great video another way to test is just isolate cold to boiler

I prefer to isolate at stop tap if mixer taps in property , to eliminate cold passing back up hot pipe which I’ve had quite a few times

@@stewartharrod1706 if the plate heat exchanger is pin holes the cold main supplying the boiler will be a great pressure than the ch system , so it will pass through into the heating circuit causing the pressure to rise up

So you need to remove pipe work to slide out plate?

Yes buddy slide cold out the way and the plate will come out

Another good video. I know the Greenstar provides loads of repair work but they are one of the worst boilers ever made.
