Back here just after what happened between Larry and Greenteck... Greenteck was a judge and ignored Larry's round then voted against him. He took the mic and said everything he had to say to Greenteck, then slapped him. Imagine Larry being disrespected for slapping Greenteck, after years and years of disrespect from Greenteck. The slap was highly deserved.

Theres a difference between disrespect and competitive behavior. Even if yall saying its old school nature then leave that shit in the past. No one gang bangs like they used to. He could talk all the shit he wants just dont knock shit out peoples hands yall defending green but if it was u that got shit knocked out your hands youd be pissed. That was back then when people battled to keep them off the streets away from violence it was repping where u came from i get it, But its evolution and people evolved so no need for disrespect if respect isnt there than what are they battling for. i thought people battled for respect so respect others.

Watching that again...Seriously, what happened to Greenteck? He is one of the best dancers I have ever seen but he was more focused on fighting Waydi in this battle. He used to be so focused and unique in his battles...now he looks like a crazy pirate.

The moment green smacked that bottle out of waydis hands was the moment a lot of the crowd got behind waydi which was evident within his round. Disrespect will almost always earn you no respect from those present.

I don’t understand how people can say that Waydi wasn’t “on beat” when literally he was flawlessly moving to both the beat and the lyrics??? Sure Greenteck had technique and he was on point. So was Kefton! But goddamnit, Waydi and Majid were also on beat! They all have amazing musicality. Waydi and Majid could just translate them better in their moves. Flashy moves? Sure. But you can’t deny that those “flashy” moves were skillful and on fucking point. Waydi smoked ‘em both. Props to Majid too.

Greenteck won the first round. Years later, and I hate how that crowd let politics interfere with cheering for Greenteck. That first round was nasty.

With that being said, even if waydi and majid just stood and breath for the whole battle, they would still win. That's the end of the discussion for me, personally.

lol complaining that you have to dance and grove to the beat instead of pulling moves on certain sounds in a song. I don't know about any of you but to me it looks like waydi isn't dancing to the beat because his body literally becomes the beat. If that's not musicality and dancing then honestly what the fuck is. Greenteck is one of my favourite dancers. I don't know why he is behaving like that these days, he used to be kind of sweet. It's really odd. He and Majid are in the same crew and I've seen Majid support him in his battles, so I know they're cool but I dunno what happened between him and Waydi.

I feel bad all of these years later that Kefton had to be weighed down by that fool Green and his antics. But I'm glad Kefton was still respectful and didn't automatically take part in his partner's bad behavior. And Kefton did super well.

All you fools talking about how Greenteck was better and he represents the streets and gangbanging and blah blah blah, the fool can only dance to one thing, the beat. He literally has zero musicality and can't hear the underlying layers of music within a song. This whole competition is about repping where you are from, not acting like an asshole. Most of the dancers in this competition dance for one thing, THE LOVE OF DANCE. That's why they pretty much all respect each other. You don't see other dancers nowadays acting a fool at these competitions. We are not the same generation as the street gang bangers that use to battle. Yes, Waydi's reaction was soft and he should't of gotten that upset over it, but that type of behavior is not respected amongst the dancers in these competitions anymore because SOCIETY AND THE CURRENT GENERATION OF DANCERS HAS CHANGED. (You can see that Kefton is almost embarrassed by Greenteck's reckless attitude.) Instead of trying to act all tough by knocking a water bottle out of someone's hand, OUT DANCE THEM. Majid 100% had more musicality than Greenteck. Greenteck's set was still pretty good, but he can only dance to the beat. I haven't seen Greenteck make it to the finals in a long time if ever....

I could tell Kefton's heart wasn't in this battle because it would appear that he was co-signing Greentek's foolishness. How selfish. Waydi handled it as he should have by crushing him on the dancefloor first. Greentek cheated himself and the people of a monumental performance because he's better than that.

If u guys look passed Greens "bad attitude", his set was amazing in comparison to Majid's first round. bias crowd. felt sorry for Kefton tho, he didn't wanna be involved in the beef aspect of the battle. don't really care who won, but Green definitely didn't get smoked. Best set was for sure by him. However Majid and Waydi had wwwwaaaayyyy better chemistry. That's the only reason why Teck and Kefton lost in my eyes. Green was definitely the strongest dancer here, never mind him hitting a bottle out his hand. I could careless.

just my 2 cents. i feel like green has been around and aquired alot of styles and skills along the way, not entertaining the behavior but i think he just has something against hip hop dancers of today but also dancers in general even poppers and criminals crew as a whole. alot of hip hop dancers get trashed by poppers often bc they reset alot and kind of use the same movements just varied slightly. just saying imo i personally dislike hip hop dancing for the most part. are alot of them skilled yes, but they don't have an arsenal to talent and dancing ability to cypher through. but i do like waydi, to keep it real. Greenteck beat majid, waydi beat kefton but majid slipped real hard and did not play it off well at all so other than the disrespect greenteck and kefton won.

Putting aside the controversy you can see though that wayi and majid was so overhyped by the crowd.

1. greenteck pouring a bottle of water to wizzard (his opponent) when wizzard dancing, he got harsh rebuke from judges. 2. not give attention when les twins dancing, he give them bad score as a judge, that's why Larry slap him. Not bcs they are lost but bcs green disrespect les twins for not give attention when judging. 3. smacked that bottle out of waydi's hands. that is just several disrespect moment of greenteck. idk if there is more. It's 2022 and his disrespect behaviour can't be deleted.
