Love this. Helping inspire me to become a police officer at 35 years old. Seeing the struggle my fellow american brothers and sisters have to face on a daily basis is astounding and motivating me to want to help my community grow in moral and good character.

That is a great video. It really shows what life is like as a police officer. Our appreciation and respect go out to all the officers that put their own lives at risk every day. Cool Swat vehicle! I haven't seen one like that before, how long have you had it?

So if I wanted to be a cop. How long would the police academy take?

Around 6 months. But it depends on what agency you decide to work for. You also need at least a highschool diploma or GED. Some department require some sort of college degree as well.
