In this video Corin works on a Pyracantha with a super heavy trunk. This urban yamadori was collected in the UK where it had been growing in a concrete gully between 2 buildings.
Corin assesses the tree and treats the rot within the tree using wet rot wood hardener. After treating the wood of the tree we incorporate a piece of rock to the composition. Overall this process has created an interesting image that we look forward to developing.
Make sure you don't miss out on updates on this tree

I really loved watching Corin working at the huge Pyracantha step by step. With that ugly straight bit gone, it really looks so much better. Let's hope that the rotten wood was taken away on time.

That was amazing: the expertise, the technique, and the lucid explanations; what a wealth of knowledge to absorb. The part about the berries being cut off was so well done. It was exactly what I was thinking as a novice - it’s the best part of the tree! A true master artist at work.
