I wish people would remember that Edinburgh is a place,not a comedy event. It will become a verb soon, like 'medalled'. "Oh yah,I Edinburghed with Fry back in the day"

'Edinburgh' has already become a synonym for August in comedy circles. Genuine quote from Ed Byrne when explaining why he wouldn't be at the festival: "I'll be in Melbourne for Edinburgh"
