You know I've been sitting here for the past two days trying to figure out how to make a good water gap with electric fence. I'd just about given up on the idea and was getting ready to put ag panels in the creek. I know they wouldn't be anything but a pain and an eye sore. Somehow just opened up my youtube and this was the first video in line. Thank you kindly sir, I'll be trying this exact same water gap build on Monday. Many thanks.

It works like a champ, no more clogged water gaps or ripped out and down the stream!!

Nice. We only have sloughs, ditches, and bayous here in Louisiana and no real creeks, but this idea is good for any such terrain. I like the points about the tape being more visible and wobbling in the breeze to catch the animals' attention more. Thanks.

I like this a lot better than the pallets strung across the creek. constant and never ending "improve-mints! "

That looks like it works really well. I have been struggling coming up with something to break up sections of brushy steep creek banks. Going to have to try it myself

You could always get his books - great winter reading, by the fire, and watching his videos. I just love his practical, no-nonsense approach to things.

Our farm has some stream bank fencing that was built several years ago and is very difficult to maintain. We’d like to remove to old fencing, graze through the stream and as much of these areas around the stream as possible. However, several feet of the areas surrounding the stream are very soft and marshy. How would you suggest we manage these soft marshy areas around the streams to maintain these areas? Thank you in advance for your help.

Cattle are 4-legged bank accounts as well as living animals. Well worth tending and supplying their every need.

What happens if a flood comes in and puts your hot wire under a half a foot of water will it ruin your charger

Polybraid under water will not short out a strong charger.
