The Lumen Martin Winter painting in the background of this scene ended up in the Pennsylvania State Museum in Harrisburg. It and the its sister painting of paddle wheel boats (that was on the opposing wall and therefore not seen in the movie) were de-accessed by the museum and put up for auction at Cordier Auctions in Harrisburg, PA. I bought the painting in this scene from the Godfather, it's now in my basement, waiting for me to permanently display in my home.

"It's been updated, it's modern, it's a conference room..." And it looks like shit. Would you rather sit in one of the new or one of the old leather chairs? Don't they have the money? Do they lack the taste?

So stupid to have ruined that magnificent classic room in to an ugly, bland, cold cubbyhole😡 “@&!! Can you imagine holding your weekly budget meetings there, or entering potential clients or guests ? STOOOPID!! STOOOPID!!! SOOOOO-PID!!!!!
