They more than likely will be though, it’s a safe enough prediction to do it every year, and for the most part the top 10 at the beginning of the year are the same ones at the end. Same goes for the top 25

I can’t wait for football to start life sucks without it.. College football feels like a holiday.. K get the feeling of summer fall winter all at the same time.. Harry potter and christmas type vibes.. If i could fall asleep and wake up day one college football i’d do it 😂 Hail-State can’t wait to watch my team get pounded again 👌🏽👍🏽

totally! I love baseball and frankly understand the intricacies of techniques and skills a lot better than football, BUT I still find myself watching a tier three college football game because I am intrigued by the matchup instead of my braves who are in the final stretch of the season or in the playoffs sometimes haha

Last time LSU lost 1st round QB and 2 WRs to same draft, tigers won the TROPHY the very next year. Led by an offense that increased avg in PPG.

A bit surprised not to see Iowa (I doubt they're going to be in the Top 10). Always have a good defense, schedule is manageable by B10 standards now and they may actually have a QB

Kentucky is going to be really good this year I think. Bush Hamden, Brock vandergriff with that offense he runs and the weapons around him they might just surprise some folks. It's crazy to put teams like Arizona and West Virginia in the top 25 but leave out UK. Their better than both those teams, plus even some in the top 20.

@@price4123 it's cool, you might not agree, but it doesn't mean it can't be true. Kentucky is way more talented than west Virginia, and Arizona, plus they have the most continuity in the SEC. They have a roster with Alot of 4 stars with a few five stars and have the best defensive tackle in the SEC. Plus the best corner in the SEC. If they even show a glimpse of success on offense they could be a top 15 team. 💯💯

Notable teams I did not see: 1- Ohio State 2 - Georgia 3 - Oregon 4 - Texas 5 - Alabama 6 - Ole Miss 7 - Notre Dame 8 - Tennessee 9 - Penn State 10 - Missouri 11 - USC 12 - Wisconsin 13 - Iowa Who am I missing & which 3 of these doesn't make the top 25? I think its SC, Iowa & Wisconsin that miss the cut.

I am shocked that Alabama is not on this list. What is most likely the regular season record for Alabama in this rebuilding year of 2024? 11-1 or 8-4

Bama will be looking for a new HC in a few years. They are used to winning, or at least competing. New coach should have stayed at UW. He squeaked by all last season with tiny margin wins vs not that great teams. Went to at least 2 overtimes vs Arizona.

They aren’t on the list because he stopped at 11. Bama will be somewhere around 5-7 if I had to guess… Should be 11-1 or 10-2 this season. Coach DeBoer has won with a TON less talent and now he’s got a roster full of 5* players and is recruiting yet another top class. The Tide will still be in the hunt. RTR

The goalpost will move immediately if Texas loses week 2 in Ann Arbor. Sports media has no use for Michigan so if they beat Texas I don't want to hear how Texas isn't a top team. We know that they'll be a top 4 team.

As a Ohio State fan Michigan needs to ranked higher than 11. They have to be in the top 10. They should be ranked ahead of Tennessee. The only reason Greg did this is because he only cares about the SEC. He does not care about any other conference. Michigan is disrespected and they will prove Mr SEC wrong.

Iowa not in the top 25 is hilarious. They return almost everyone on defense and will be top 10 again for defense. Sure, the offense will need to prove it's improved, but if you look at Iowa's schedule, they have a realistic chance of going 10-2 or 11-1.

Auburn is at 25 though which is a mess. Lost to NMSU just a couple of games ago. Iowa's backup QB might be better than Auburn's starter and their defense is probably better than Auburn's.

Ok you want me to answer what they have done? WVU 9-4. Oklahoma 10-3, you got me with Auburn 6-7 USC 8-4 with the reigning Heisman winner. USC does less with more talent than most teams. USC needs a defense and needs to play more physical. If they do not it’s going to be a long season for them in the B1G.

@@EulogyfortheAngelsAuburn needs to prove they can complete a forward pass before we put them in the top 25. Their offense was atrocious last year. As far as Miami goes they have a lot to prove as well. TAMU has so much talent you have to assume a competent coaching staff will be able to squeeze a lot of juice out of that loaded roster.

Miami has the easiest schedule in the p4. That’s why they should go 11-1. If Mario can’t go 11-1 with this schedule, that is a fireable offense tbh.

What problems did Mario have? An over 50% blue chip ratio? All the money he needs? He’s had every advantage. He didn’t even follow a failed coach. They fired manny for him, not for sucking. They have the best roster every year. I truly hope they are good for the ACC’s sake but cmon this is just wrong.

The blue chip ratio does not account for kids who leave. It only accounts for recruits you bring in. Miami had their first back to back top 10 class since 247 started. Sad to believe that.

Hey Greg, as a Michigan fan, I am supremely disappointed in you for underestimating Michigan here. Your analysis is so flawed. Sherrone is still there and he was a HUGE part of recruiting the players that helped build this culture. Our S&C coach was Ben Herbert's protégé. Michigan is going to have the best interior DL in the country and has the best DB in the country. I think it's crazy to pretend like all of a sudden, Moore forgot how to develop OLs after what we saw the last 3 seasons.

How is there a lack of “continuity” at Michigan??? Every replacement coach is being promoted from within. The defensive coordinator is new…but hes also the architect of the defensive scheme Michigan has been running the pst few yrs. Lazy take, Greg.
